Johannes Blum is an artist and illustrator currently based in Ontario, Canada. After attending a year of school for architectural design, he discovered his dislike of buildings and rejected the horrors of urban design and architecture to embrace the separate horrors of more natural things. He enjoys manipulating the features of animals in his art and is fascinated by nature. Johannes focuses mainly on oil, acrylic painting and drawing, but he has explored collage, printmaking and digital media. Johannes is currently attending the Visual and Creative Arts program at Sheridan College and is pursuing further studies in illustration.
