This face is sculpted digitally on Nomad, resized in meshmixer, then 3D printed and sanded. I plan to sculpt her whole body digitally in the future.

I am really fascinated by ball-jointed dolls, due to their intricate joint and stringing system they could achieve lifelike postures. I decided to challenge myself and make one. This doll is mostly sculpted with stone clay. When I sculpt her hand, I was watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and I couldn’t resist the temptation of sculpting JoJo’s classic flamboyant hand gestures.

I imagine the planet of Arrakis would have a place that looks like this.

A therapist told me that he would watch a video of a wild cottontail's body decompose in timelapse and ponders the concept of death. I found this very haunting and strangely beautiful. Cottontails live in berry bushes, so I wrapped the raspberries around its body and bones.

Before the pandemic hit, I had a trip to Quebec and visited Habitat 67. It’s a brutalism architecture that only consists of cuboids. The architect, Moche Safdie, designs Habitat 67 with the ambition of revolutionizing affordable housing by prefabricated, modular development (Hence the cuboids) It ultimately failed. Contrary to his vision, the cost of living in Habitat 67 is too high. The neighbourhood is getting older and older, without a way to renew broken parts of this building. I made my impression of Habitat 67 and its story into a painting: A golden dream in a natural surrounding, slowly dying.

I watched a fungus documentary and thought it would be very cool if they morphed with a human.

I designed these furnitures in Fusion360, then laser cut the parts on a wood board. The parts were painted and assembled. I also did some sewing for the bed and the armchairs. In this image, you could see a doll. Since she's a 1:12 figure, she fit right in this bedroom. I also sew her little dress so she won't feel too shy on camera.

People ]take it one day at a time when times are hard. I also take my meds one day at a time in order to survive. This image is printed with my body, my medication package, and my fingers with Acrylic. I learned a lesson too: It's very hard, sometimes even painful, to wash dried acrylic off your body and hair.

This is a recurring dream I have, standing at the bottom of a drained swimming pool, staring at its blue tiles while the sky is getting darker and darker.

Is there really a division between what is our body and what is our mind? Is our mind simply the summation of all neuron activities? When you are looking at yourself, what are you actually seeing?

There is an ink marbling technique in Japan called suminagashi, pushing ink around on the surface of salted waterto create patterns, I used this technique to create a vortex pattern on paper, then drew on it digitally. This is what I felt during this pandemic. There is a constant sense of unease. Every thought melts in my brain, and time gradually loses meaning.
