My name is Carlos Pereira, I am 20 years old and I am an independent freelancer. I currently attend Sheridan College and I am going into Computer Animation next year. I wanted to create a poster that allowed me to showcase my own personality traits. Creating it in Adobe Illustrator, I managed to capture a self portrait of myself with my likes, dislikes and dreams. To me, artwork always has meaning. To allow anyone to interpret it in their own way, while also giving the viewer something interesting to talk about. Being able to express yourself within a piece is something amazing. To have someone look at it, relate to it or not understand makes it real. If someone can also question it too, that gives it even more value.
