Blake is a transgender, sexual abuse survivor who uses his art practice to bring awareness to issues in society related to his own experiences. He is a Visual and Creative Arts student graduating in April, passionate about making people think about taboo topics like mental health, homophobia, and transphobia. He wrote his Trauma Narrative while in a Sexual Abuse Treatment Program and encourages people to read it to fully understand his hard stance on previously mentioned societal issues. While he does hold his opinion on these topics and aims to expose people to these issues that many people face. He does acknowledge that many people could be put off by reading such personal things in his Trauma Narrative(2018).
