Emily Gonsalves is a multimedia artist from Brampton, Ontario. She originally had a passion for music and took part in the vocal program at her regional arts high school. Her interests began to shift as she started watching anime, cartoons, and reading comics. From there she started to form an interest in the visual arts. Emily has grown to love working with other creative minds and has been able to find many ways to tell a story that moves people emotionally with different materials as she practices working with fantasy and action-like themes. Music still remains a part of her life to gain inspiration for her concepts in world building and character design. Other sources of inspiration are her knowledge of mythology, history, philosophy, and other forms of entertainment media. Her goal is to give a different perspective of life through fictional worlds and encourage people to reflect on their own life.
