Thomas Price is a multimedia artist living in Burlington, Ontario. His love for pop culture is prominent in his work, and always finds its way into his pieces. Using both traditional and digital mediums, Thomas’s work explores a variety of subjects, with a focus on character design. During his time at Sheridan, he developed a passion for painting in both acrylics and oils, and an interest in puppet making. After he graduates, Thomas hopes to pursue a career in graphic design or illustration.

This piece was inspired by the idea of Masters of the Universe doing a collaboration with the Muppets. After countless hours of sewing and gluing, Orko, the lovable yet clumsy wizard, made his debut in puppet form. The puppet base was inspired by various Muppet puppets produced by the Fisher Price company in the 1970s, while the colours and design of the puppet came from the various iterations of the character amassing the forty two years since his creation.

These five cans were created for an imaginary drink company called ‘’Fun and Fancy Fruits’’. The designs for the cans were based on mascots from the 1960s and 70s, such as the characters featured in Pillsbury’s retired ‘’Funny Face Drink Mix’’ from 1964. The cans were created to be vibrant and playful, and were targeted towards a younger audience.

Focusing on perspective inside of an interior space, this digital piece portrays The Hillbilly’s shooting gallery game at Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls. Due to neglect and disrepair in modern years, this piece focuses on how it originally would have looked, showcasing the attraction’s humour, characters, and colours, in excruciating detail.
