Tiffany Quang is a 2D oriented artist known for her digital illustrations, paintings, and designs. Throughout her work, Tiffany has noticeable influence from pop culture with her own commentary. Under her online alias Teons, is a Chinese-Canadian artist born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and now lives in Stouffville, just east of Toronto. With a background in visual and creative arts, Tiffany continues to learn new techniques to apply to new and ongoing works. More recently, she has experimented with different media and approaches to her artwork. Tiffany makes her art to spark a conversation, from her colourful and eye-catching colours to the themes seen in her work. Working towards a career in creating concept artwork for video games, Tiffany will continue to branch out and create new work to excite and inspire different people from all over the world.

"Back of my mind"

Back of My Mind" is a 66 x 88 cm acrylic painting about my experience with mental paralysis and overthinking. The two heads looking away show a feeling of being stuck in my thoughts, distant from the world around me. The soft, flowing brushstrokes and blue background create a quiet, dreamlike feeling. You can still see the yellow underpainting underneath, showing the tension between calm on the outside and mental unrest inside. The figure being nude represents the vulnerability that often comes with this emotion. This piece is my way of showing how overthinking can lead to stillness and emotional disconnection.

This digital piece is a front-facing character concept illustration of my original character Dahlia. The artwork emphasizes silhouette, mood lighting, colour and visual storytelling through costume, posture, and expression. Dahlia’s design blends gothic elegance with dark fantasy elements, aiming to convey hints of her personality and the theme. This concept explores character identity through visual cues alone, focusing on how form, detail, and atmosphere can suggest a deeper narrative without relying on description alone.

"Dream" is a digital illustration featuring my original character in a peaceful beach scene, their hat caught in the breeze. Created during the end of December, this piece reflects my longing for warmth, sunlight, and escape during the cold winter months. I focused on experimenting with dappled lighting to create a soft, dreamlike mood—capturing the feeling of relaxation and to be stress-free. This work is both a personal daydream and a moment of quiet freedom.

"Where We Lay" is a photograph that captures a quiet moment between two of my friends resting together in nature. It explores themes of coming of age and the deep, platonic bonds between women. The peaceful setting reflects a sense of trust, comfort, and growing up side by side. This image celebrates the softness and strength found in close friendship during transitional times in life. This was done for the Intro to Digital Photography course at Sheridan College.

These original character designs are inspired by The Elder Scrolls universe. I reinterpreted myself and my significant other as two of the many races, Bosmer and Imperial. Each design explores our personality, culture, and aesthetic through costume, silhouette, and expression. This is both a tribute to the original world and an exploration of how fan-inspired concepts can evolve into unique, standalone characters.

This piece is a fanart of the character 2B from the game NieR: Automata, created as a tribute to the game and its world. I wanted to honor the powerful visuals, storytelling, and atmosphere made by Square Enix and Yoko Taro. This work is a personal homage to a game that continues to inspire me.
