The theme of this painting is pent-up rage. The petunia flower symbolizes resentment and anger. "Blossoming Rage" is inspired by the pop surrealism movement. The proportions of the girl resemble that of a doll. The girl in the painting appears to be small and fragile. But on the inside, she holds bottled-up rage.

This painting is the first in my Fire Sprite series inspired by Bosch's "The Garden of Earthly Delights" and popular folktales about fire spirits from many different cultures. Fire sprites are mischievous little spirits that have the physical traits of fire. They harness energy from the sun and dance under the moonlight. Hieronymus Bosch's painting "The Garden of Earthly Delights" is about morality and divine punishment, and it depicts small people in the Garden of Eden indulging in sin. This painting also deals with the theme of relationships. The relationship is the connection between nature and the myths people create to explain natural phenomena, like fire. Along with the relationship between the sprites, which borders between platonic and romantic.

This is the second painting of the Haunted Astronaut series, titled “New Normal.” The series is about an astronaut who becomes stranded on a planet inhabited by silly aliens.

This is a mixed media painting I created for the second year Interpretive Painting class. Our professor gave us the prompt "haunted astronaut." So, I created a small series about an astronaut who becomes stranded on a planet with silly dancing space beings. The astronaut slowly cracks after being surrounded by all the wackiness for extended periods. This is the first painting of the series titled "New Normal." It takes place shortly after the astronaut realizes he is stuck on a new planet.

This print was inspired by tarot cards. I reimagined the High Priestess as a wise alien royal.

This painting is the second in my Fire Sprite series, inspired by Hieronymus Bosch's "The Garden of Earthly Delights" and folktales about fire spirits from multiple cultures. Fire sprites are little spirits with all the physical traits of fire. Fire in spirituality represents warmth, passion, compulsiveness, and destruction. Fire sprites live deep in the forest and look like balls of light when they fly. Only when they are still can you see the shape of a feminine figure. Bosch's "The Garden of Earthly Delights" is a triptych that depicts small figures in the Garden of Eden and is about morality and sin. In some stories fire sprites are helpful creatures who guide lost people in the dark. In others, fire sprites are tricksters who will lead you away from your path and toward danger. The fire spirit myth will change depending on the person and culture, much like how beliefs and morals differ from person to person.
